Mike Kelly is a founder and lead developer for SonicCat Studios, a Burnaby-based software consultancy that specializes in the creation of mobile and web applications.
Mike was bitten by the mobile computing bug earlier than most, with the introduction of the first Apple Newton PDA in 1993. He eventually parlayed that interest into a position as an embedded Linux developer at Ottawa-based Espial Inc., where he developed prototype Linux-based tablet computers in 2001.
Originally from Ontario, Mike also worked as a Senior Unix System Administrator for Nortel, Mitel and Newbridge Networks. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Astronomy from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia.
